In the past, you would have to go out to the job site at precisely the right time after framing and mechanicals, but before drywall to see what’s behind the walls. Not anymore! Korndoerfer Homes is unveiling our new behind the walls virtual tour. Now you can view an example of a pre-drywalled Korndoerfer home on our website from the comfort of your couch!

Our new virtual tour is an example of the construction details “Behind the Walls” in one of our homes. This sample tour was created for educational purposes and is not intended to represent our included features as every home is uniquely built to the owner’s specifications. 

In the tour, we tag some of the details that we think you’d be interested in knowing more about such as our 2x6 exterior wall construction and our unique Tyvek/Pella Window and Home Wrap System. The tour shows a home with the Ellington Traditional floor plan. This home is a 2,383 SF two-story with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a 2.5 car garage (extended depth). The tour takes you through the main floor, second floor, basement, garage, and the front exterior.
