Smolenski Park is 72 acres and is a great place to take a hike and observe wildlife. Lastly, Joint Park, operated by Mount Pleasant and the Village of Caledonia, boasts the widely popular 20,000 SF Kids Connection Community Playground. The Racine Zoo is also located nearby. The 28-acre Zoo cares for approximately 100 different species of animals. Another great place to checkout is Berryville Farm where you can pick your own fresh strawberries. During the Fall, Berryville Farm also sells pumpkins, maple syrup, and honey. Once a year, Mount Pleasant celebrates “Mount Pleasant Day”. This one-day festival is a family-oriented event with live music, a beer garden, helicopter rides, and so much more. Mount Pleasant Day is a great way to get to know your community. SC Johnson and Microsoft are two of the largest companies located in Mount Pleasant offering job opportunities. SC Johnson is the largest global manufacturing facility of household and professional products, and Foxconn is the global leader in manufacturing services for computer, communication, and consumer electronics.
