Known for its breweries, cheese, brats, and the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee is the largest city in Wisconsin. Milwaukee is home to the largest music festival in the world, Summerfest. Eleven days of concerts, great food, and so much more, Summerfest is just one of the great things about Milwaukee. Summerfest is not the only great fest that Milwaukee hosts. Nicknamed the “City of Festivals”, Milwaukee puts several hundreds of festivals each year. From street fests to ethnic fests to art fests and so much more, there is some type of festival for everyone. Milwaukee is also home to many great museums. The Milwaukee Public Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, Harley-Davidson Museum, Discovery World, and Betty Brinn Children’s Museum just to name a few. The Milwaukee Public Museum was established in 1882 and includes a dinosaur exhibit, old Milwaukee neighborhoods, and so much more. The zoo is one of the top zoos in the country and has great exhibits no matter the age. If you enjoy the great outdoors, there are many parks with nice trails surrounding Milwaukee. One of the more popular trails is the Seven Bridges Trail. Featuring a 2-mile look throughout the beautiful Grant Park, the trail is a great place to be one with nature. Named #3 for top urban beaches, Bradford Beach is located downtown and has many volleyball nets and two outdoor bars and is the perfect place to spend a hot summer day.
