Pre-Construction Overview

The first draft of your home plans and preliminary survey are created and reviewed by our team along with the specifications. You'll then meet with your New Home Consultant to go over the initial draft of plans and add additional options to your home contract.

Next, we give you access to the Online Design Studio where you can view available selections from the comfort of your home and we’ll schedule two in-person Design Studio appointments to personalize your home’s exterior and interior finishes.

• First Appointment:
  During the first design studio appointment, you will focus on selecting the components that make up the exterior of your home such as siding, masonry, roofing, and exterior colors. You’ll also be able to tour our design studio to help guide your decisions. After your first appointment, we’ll generate a second draft of the plans for your review. Once approved, we’ll schedule your second design studio appointment and send the contract package to your lender (if applicable).
• Second Appointment:
  The second design studio appointment will focus on interior finishes such as flooring, countertops, light fixtures and more. At the end of this meeting, the Design Studio Consultant will summarize all the decisions made and guide you through the next steps of finalizing your selections and moving forward.

The final plans and survey are prepared, permits or any architectural approvals are obtained, and the excavation date is scheduled.

In this final meeting before construction begins, you will meet your Field Superintendent, who will walk you through the major milestones of our homebuilding process. They will outline what to expect in the coming months and ensure that everything is ready for dig day!
