Oak Creek is a city in Wisconsin located in Milwaukee County. Oak Creek offers a suburban feeling with many amenities nearby. With Milwaukee being a short drive away, there is no shortage of things to do. Check out a Brewer Game on a nice summer day or visit one of the many breweries downtown. If you prefer the peace and quiet, there are also many great parks in Oak Creek and the surrounding areas. Head to the beautiful Oak Creek Parkway. Oak Leaf Park could be considered one of Milwaukee county’s top trails. The Oak Leaf Trail is more than 120 miles and has a change of terrain throughout. A quarter of the trail offers views of the shores of Lake Michigan. If you love the views of Lake Michigan, you will love Bender Park. Bender Park is located on the shores of Lake Michigan and offers a nice sandy beach, piers, a boat launch, and has the perfect scenery for a nice quiet picnic. There is also a great Beer Garden from June-August at Bender Park. If you enjoy shopping, check out Drexel Town Square or the new IKEA. Drexel Town Square has many restaurants and shops, and even hosts a farmers market from June to late October. At the farmers market you will find live music, cooking demonstrations, fresh produce, and so much more. With convenient access to I-94, Oak Creek gives you an easy route to both Milwaukee & Chicago.
