The trail meanders through neighborhoods, neighborhood parks and industrial areas. The trail is set on the former route of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul Railroad Company. At one point the train carried freight for the Lannon Quarry. Between the Lannon Quarry, the wildlife, and the breathtaking views, the Bugline Trail is a must see in Lannon.

Whispering Ridge Estates North is only a two-mile drive from Menomonee Park. Menomonee Park offers 464 acres of fields & woods as well as a 16-acre quarry lake. Stay over at one of the many campsites featuring activities such as swimming, fishing, archery range, volleyball and so much more. The rolling hills of the park make it the perfect spot for biking and cross-country skiing. Situated near Sussex and Menomonee Falls, Lannon offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options.
