The Town of Dover, Wisconsin is home to Eagle Lake, Eagle Lake Golf Course, and the popular Michael’s on the Lake restaurant, making Dover the perfect destination for outdoor recreation. If you enjoy outdoor recreation, The Richard Bong State Recreation Area is located just south of Dover. There are also four different picnic areas near the beach with a playground, volleyball net, ball field and horseshoe pit. Richard Bong State Park also holds the annual Wolf Lake Trail Run/Hike which is a 5K walk/run where the proceeds go to support the park. Just a short drive from the Great Lakes Dragaway, race your own car or watch others. Dover is less than 10 miles from the Racine County Fairgrounds which draws huge acts each year. Enjoy a concert, demo derby, horse show, a free petting zoo, truck and tractor pulls, and so much more. The Racine County Fairgrounds also hosts the Great Pumpkin Fest in October. Watch as people catapult pumpkins as far as the eye can see or enjoy a family hayride.
